Banana River Sunrise
I was in Merritt Island Fl. early one morning. My lens was treated to a beautiful sunrise over the Banana River. The Banana River is not a banana though, they just call it that because it’s sort of shaped like a banana. It’s not really a river either, it’s a saltwater lagoon. So it’s not a banana, and it’s not a river, but it’s a really pretty place for a sunrise.
Beautiful Roy!

Thank You Ben! I always hunt for something interesting to add to the foreground of my sunrises. A sunrise on it’s own is nice, but when you add something to your foreground it takes your image to the next level. I liked your photos of Old-town Geneva. I spent some time there and it’s a beautiful place!

Great tip on the foreground, I’m going to bear that in mind in the future. Thanks, the old town is a lovely area to explore. Just a shame it’s such a small part of Geneva!

Wow… How come your picture looks so great and mine are blurry half the time… LOL 😀 My daughter says “it’s the operator, mom”…. so I guess I shake… LOL Every time I see a bird, I think of you! Hope all is well for you. Prayers for your ill ones…. 😀

Thank you for your prayers Keli! I’m sure that you are not as shaky as I am. You don’t get to see all of my blurry shots. 😀 I have a bit of a tremor that makes getting a clear shot a challenge sometimes. I try to use a tripod or a mono-pod as much as I can. It is a pain sometimes but it works. When I was young my dad taught me to shoot a rifle. He taught me how to control my breathing as I take my shot. I also use this same technique when taking a photograph. Oh I also try to keep my shutter speed a bit higher to help keep things sharp. Anyway you have some nice photos too! 🙂 Oh so hows the movie shoot, are they done? I think I saw a photo on your blog under a bridge. I thought maybe it was the one you were talking about. Happy steady shooting!

Thanks for all the good ideas to cure my “blurry” talent. LOL. Yes, they are finished with the movie, but I just haven’t had time to go all the way downtown to take those bridge shots. I do have others, but the ones you are thinking of, are the ones I want to do, but haven’t been able to persuade my hubby to take me back to shoot some. : (
