Thanks Heather! Yes my vision and my camera were connected pretty good that day. This photo was particularly difficult. The sun was still below the horizon and I was not using the fastest lens in the world. I got plenty of bad ones. Luckily the skimmers gave me lots of chances.
Thank You Janna! The water was smooth as glass. I was surprised that I was able to get photos in-focus, in the predawn light. The birds were moving pretty fast and I was worried about shutter speed. I had the ISO way up!
